What We're Doing

COVID-19 Response

 

As we continue to navigate the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic, South Coast Entertainment is committed to taking preventative measures to keep our clients, their guests, and our staff safe.  Although we take seriously our efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19, it is important to recognize that the risk of transmission cannot be totally eliminated, given the inherently contagious nature, and the unknowns, of the virus.  As explained below, however, South Coast Entertainment will do its part to reduce any such risk, and encourages all clients and guests to follow all health guidelines, advice, and protocols of public health officials.

 

DJs:

 

Our DJs are advised generally to follow the recommendations of the CDC (e.g., hand washing, social distancing, wearing a mask, etc.). While working an event, DJs will wear masks, sanitize their hands as needed, and practice social distancing.  Efforts will be made to make hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial wipes available at the DJ booth for DJs and guests.  If microphones are used for speeches, they will be sanitized after each use.

 

Photo Booths: 

 

Our photo booth attendants are advised generally to follow the recommendations of the CDC (e.g., hand washing, social distancing, wearing a mask, etc.).  At events, photo booth attendants will wear masks and are responsible for sanitizing the touch-screen booth, as well as any item(s) touched by guests.  We also ask that guests who wish to take group photos in the photo booth keep their party size to 6 people or less.

 

While, out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to temporarily stop providing most physical props, most of our photo booths come with a selection of virtual props and filters that, similar to the social media app Snapchat, users are able to select and use digitally.  (All the fun without the physical contact and exchange of props!).  At events where we provide fun signs as props, such signs are made of PCV and are able to be easily sanitized after each use.
